for some, the pain doesn’t stop
[MEDIA=291] 苦痛の周期的な性質に注目を引くフランスの Douleurs Sans Frontieres 国境なき苦痛Pain Without Borders)のためのキャンペーン．精神的そして身体的な苦痛がひたすら繰り返される様子を描く動画だけれど．この問題の是非を問うつもりはないが、アニメーションは美しくかつリアルだけれど苦痛という概念があまりにも漠然すぎるため、見ている人が描かれているような苦痛を減少させるためにどう協力できるのかに戸惑うはず． Although it is another successful creative exercise of social advertising the theme of pain is so vague that the viewer is left with unresolved feeling of compasion and confused as how to remedy that cyclical nature of pain in certain areas of the world.

Bat For Lashes - What’s a Girl to do.
[MEDIA=289] Bat for LashesのPV「what's a girl to do」は Donnie Darkoを連想させる奇妙なファンタジー のある演出.最初見たとき少し悔しかった．あまりの単純で低予算な仕掛けでコレだけ面白く出来るとは． Bat for Lashes video for "What's a girl to do" is a good idea with superb and laidback execution which gives it a Donnie Darko-esque feel. I must admit I was a bit jealous that someone had thought and done it first.

Iran: A Nation of bloggers
イランがブログ先進国であることを説明する動画．700万人の人口の半数が25歳以下で、その大多数は現体制に対して反対であるが自由に発言すると罰せられるため、若いイラン人たちのブログの活用により、イランは世界第３のブログ大国である．我々も若いイラン人のように表現の自由をこれほど有効に使えたらいいと願っているが．銃を向けられなければひらめきが得られないのであれば、たいした成果は望めない． If only we used our freedom as wisely as the young Iranians. If we wait to have guns pointed to our head to be inspired we certainly not going to get much work done.
