WTF. Two big Umineko things pass and nobody says anything? A preview of Curse of the Golden Witch is up at Baka-Tsuki but the translation patches for the first and second episodes are gone. Hmm… well, in any case, I’m going to wait for the full version. Secondly, I glimpsed the title Alliance of the Golden Witch and passed out for two hours. Now I caaaaaan’t wait for c75. Nothing new it seems. But Virgy and Battler surrounded by the Stakes is pretty awesome.

Oh gosh*, when was this released?I just saw it on Tokyotoshokan and almost died. I literally almost died. How long has it been since we were promised our SHAFT SD anime? Many a month ago. Anyways, I’d pick this up just for  the Yuuki Aira (the track Moon Legend is actually the song from this video in case you thought it sounded famillar as I did) track. Tomatsu Haruka (who pretty much EXPLODED into our heads this season) and some other singer I’m too tired to recognize is also there and they preform Heaven’s Tree which is a pretty agreeable song (from the other preview I assume, again, too tired to search for) UNTIL this other singer who is clearly not our beloved Tomatsu-sama starts singing. Then you want to shoot yourself.

Anyways I am, as stated many times, really, really overtired. So I will not upload the album tonight. You can pick it up on TT and if you can’t use/won’t use torrents than look around. I’ll upload it this weekend for good measure because it’s awesome and starved Shina Dark fans should and will eat this one up.

* Fang swears too much, it’s not ladylike. She will replace most swears with gosh. If applicable of course.

Rarely do I whore out other websites but when I found this I seriously almost died. I haven’t heard of this site before so excuse me if it’s old news but you should really stop reading this and head over to the Nico Nico Douga Medly Database. It’s as the title says, a site just for those awaesome medly’s we’ve all come to love (if you don’t love them or don’t know what they are than GTFO read a different post). I was actually looking for a new couple of these because they’re very motivational when I walk home from school. To see if you can get from one place to another before the song ends is tiring but fun to do. So to whoever created such a conveiently awesome site (and in English too), orz.

I just posted about this the other day. Didn’t take long, did it? I had some trouble finding the Caipirinha album but someone came through. Instead of reviewing that album I’m just going to upload the songs to youtube and you can just listen. I’ll throw in the UmaUma 3 ones I mentioned because they were awesome. But let’s check out the fifth albums shall we?

1. Triangular (Macross Frontier)
   Kay, you know what, I guess I must have gotten my information mixed up on the last album. So you know what, screw it. I’m not talking about MF again. Go back to the fourth one and read what I said. I have to get the fourth album back and do a comparison. :/
2. DISCOTHEQUE (Rosario + Vampire Capu2)
   The first time I heard the original, I thought it was catchy. The second time I wanted to shoot my computer. I don’t much like Nana Mizuki (I used to, I suppose) but this is just horrid. The vocals could annoy Kugimiya.
3. Sekirei (Sekirei)
   What a spectacular choice of songs. [/lies] Like track two, I can’t help but feel biased because of the HAET I have for the original song. I do however like how many people joined in on this one. Four of the Code Speed female singers joined in (not Camry though, if Camry had maybe there would be less fail). So if you’re a fan of CS/ET than that mgiht have been a bonus because I don’t recall a song like that in the past.
4. Massive Wonders (Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS)
   Oblibigatory Nanoha spot, get. Not as impressive as Secret Ambition was on the previous album but still better than the earlier Nanoha tracks of theirs. But this one… is very lackluster. Not much excitement on the singers behalf.
5. Bouken Desho Desho (Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu)
   If you didn’t think this song could become anymore generic pop like than you were wrong. But that isn’t a bad thing. This was adorable. It was very light and upbeat and I didn’t recognize the song the first time I heard it. I could have sworn this was on the first CD but it appears they only remixed Hare Hare Yukai and some of the character singles.
6. Over the Future (Zettai Karen Children)
   I believe this is from Zettai Karen Children. Haven’t seen it so I don’t know. But this is a pretty cute song, if you don’t mind me saying. It’s another one of those songs that I’ll have to look up the original. But this will probably be one of the tracks that is better than the original. This has to be one of my favorite tracks on this album but… frankly… that’s not saying much.
7. Strike Witches ~ To Do What I Can ~ (Strike Witches)
   Remember my favorite song that was remixed awhile back? Virgin’s High? Yeah, well this is Virgin’s High Remix grade crap. It doesn’t have the rrrrrrrrrr sound but it’s still lacking in enthusiasm and energy. The sad thing is that it IS Camry doing the vocals. Camry who never fails me.
8. YOU’RE THE ONE (Zero no Tsukaima)
   I was had at the background singing. I didn’t like this song as much as the other two ZnT songs (the original, I mean) but I was looking forward to the remix of this. First Kiss will always remain to be the best out of CS/ET’s ZnT remixes. But this one beats out the last one in anycase.
9. Orange (Bleach)
   I’m sorry I don’t know what song this is. Apparently, it’s from Bleach but I don’t watch that show and haven’t heard anything from it in a long while. If someone could please tell me the information on this I would be very happy.
10. Koi se yo Onna no ko (Best Student Council)
    Again, I’m a little unsure if this actually said song. Damned if I know. Anyways, the remix is pretty cute. If only they could have put this much enthusiathim into Strike Witches. For shame.
11. Tsuzuku Sekai (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Movie)
    I didn’t recognize the song at first but when I did I was pleased. Sorairo Days sounded like an h-game op (although a good one) when they remixed it but this one turned out way better. Keeping the rockish feel was a very nice touch. I can’t remember who did the SD vocals but YURiE nails the vocals on this one. Although, it hardly feels trance-y at all.
12. Hitosashiyubi Quiet! (Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu)
    When I thought this was a chiptune I almost died, not in the good way. I don’t watch this crap so I’ve enver heard this song before but this was pretty cute. I liked the lower vocals though, the high ones kinda ruined it for me. But I never heard the original and they sounded great when they were singing together.
13. Forever We Can Make It! (To Love-Ru ~Trouble~)
    I was looking forward to this. Despite hating the show I liked this song. But… at first I thought someone like Camry would be better suited for this song (Oh shut up, you think Camry would be better at everything) but the vocals grew on me. Like almost all the tracks on here (maybe except #1, #15 and #11) the music itself is very plain.
14. Tears Infection (Myself;Yourself)
    Oh surprise, surprise. Another song from a series I don’t like. Anyways, this was Camry’s chance to redeem herself in my eyes. She did pretty good (especially on the chorus) even if she was sort of outshined by the music and it was hard to hear her. I’m willing to overlook this though because it’s Ryu who did the music for this one. Awesome.
15. Kirameku Namida wa Hoshi ni (Fate/Stay Night)
    This was one of the songs I listed as being excited about. But what the heck was going on with the vocalist? It was really weird. I liked it but it was weird at the same time. The music was really catchy too. One of those ones that would be better without the vocals, y’know?
16. For Fruits Basket (Fruits Basket)
    This is one of the original bastards of rom-com with dramu. And a slow song like this should not be remixed if you won’t put effort into it. I do appluad the vocals (for one reason track 14 if you will) but seriously, you got to know what songs should and shouldn’t be remixed.
17. Rinbu Revolution (Utena)
    Very catchy if I might say. The music is pretty good and would be good on it’s own. But the vocalist is really awesome too. It reminds me of Nana Mizuki before I started playa hatin. D;
18. Kimi wa Boku ni Niteiru (Gundam Seed Destiny)
    The last GS song they did was a shining beacon of awesome on top of a great album full of awesome. Seeing as that is the case how can you even consider this? Just… just go. Just go and get the fourth album. Don’t waste your time here.
19. Crystal Energy (Mai Otome)
    After track 7 this was the real track I was looking forward to. FORTUNATLY, it does not fail to BE AWESOME. Unlike every other track on this album. The guitars again are win. The vocals are great and the music too is just badass.
20. Northern Cross (Macross Frontier)
    Even though I said I was done talking about MF, this song was pretty awesome. the AHHH-AHHH-AHHH vocals made me laugh. But otherwise it’s okay. Remeember how the Gurren-Lagann op was remade into an eroge theme? This was remade into a sci-fi eroge. Oh wait, we were already talking about Macross Frontier weren’t we?

Ah, when did it come to me blogging over such things? Well, forget that. There are two upcoming Exit Trance albums that might be relevant to the interests of some people here (in case you didn’t know, I’m ET’s bitch). One is the niconico-inspired album UmaUma 3 I’m currently ‘aquiring’ UmaUma 2 which features some kickass songs like Kurutto·Mawatte·Ikkaiten, Uninstall, Kaidoku Funou, Hanamaru Sensation, Kanashimi no Mukou he and (the reason I wanted it so bad in the first place:) Caipirinha! See, doesn’t that sound woooonderful? Well, I won’t write a review on said album. Maybe I’ll try something new and just upload some of the tracks to youtube and give a brief summary. Unless anything else pops my itnerest (nanodesu) I probably wouldn’t mention them.

But ahaha back to the upcoming music~ a new Exit Trance’s Code Speed (I’m just going to keep calling it Code Speed Trancedespite the fact that it should be just Speed Trance now, so screw you guys) was released today. Some of the tracks include: Strike Witches ~Watashi ni Dekiru Koto~ (and it’s Camry!! You know it’s going to be awesome), Kirameku Namida wa Hoshi ni, Northern Cross (O:!!). Crystal Energy, forever we can make it!, YOU’RE THE ONE, and a whole bunch of other tracks. I think the fourth installment was the best but maybe, just maybe this will top that. I’m especially looking forward to the NC remix.

On UmaUma 3, the initial tracklisting isn’t too impressive. I’m looking forward to the IDOLM@STER remixes, Nodame Cantabile (?), Love and Joy, Chocolate Disco, (another) Strike Witches and the signature Caramelldansen remix (however, it will be IOSYS~). Of course there are the mandatory Lucky Star and Haruhi remixes. But, as the case with UmaUma 2, several awesome songs were added and some were taken away. So you can expect a bigger tracklisting when the album is actually released. You can expect UmaUma 2 in January, 2009.

Also, I found this and nearly died of another fangasm~ This is pretty much just Caipirinha remixes. Fuck. Yeah. It’s also released today but how long until it too is put out on torrents? Haaaaauuu auauauuu.

Oh the lulz, I feel kinda bad for Nagi. Feeling bad for a fictional character? That’s no better than those on 2ch who freaked out over this. Hahaha. If you don’t know what happened then you can read about it here like I did.
